Camp Counselors:
St. Margaret's summer staff include a talented, enthusiastic, and friendly group of lead counselors, counselor assistants, and counselors-in-training. Lead Counselors are experienced adult professionals who are either teachers or aspiring individuals in the field of education. Many of our summer staff are St. Margaret's Day School teachers. Counselor assistants are college or high school students who have a real interest in working with young children, many returning summer after summer. All of our camp staff are first aid and CPR training certified.
Interested in becoming a summer camp counselor? See our careers page to apply.
Children ages 12-13 have an opportunity to volunteer at camp, as counselors in training. If you wish to volunteer, please submit a careers form as well.
Special Events/Field Trips:
We end each week with a special event, whether that be a visit from Kona Ice, an inhouse field trip planned and executed by the counselors, or an off campus field trip.
Any field trips that occur off campus are for 4 year olds and up only.
All field trips travel on the Annapolis Bus Company buses and are chaperoned by camp staff only.
Camp waitlist:
A waitlist is automatically formed within the system when a camp week becomes full.
To be placed on the waitlist, add the camp weeks you are interested in to your campers portal.
If your child is on the waitlist, you will not be able to pay the registration fee until the reservation is from the waitlist to their portal.
Important Camp Reminders:
