Camp Counselors:
St. Margaret's summer staff include a talented, enthusiastic, and friendly group of lead counselors, and counselor assistants. Lead Counselors are experienced adult professionals who are either teachers or aspiring individuals in the field of education. Many of our summer staff are St. Margaret's Day School teachers. Counselor assistants are college or high school students who have an interest in working with young children, many returning summer after summer. All of our camp staff are first aid and CPR training certified.

*SMDS will not be offering volunteer positions Summer 2025*
Special Events/Field Trips:
We end each week with a special event, whether that be a visit from Kona Ice, an in house field trip planned and executed by the counselors, or an off-campus field trip.
Any field trips that occur off campus are for 4-6 year olds only.
All field trips travel on the Annapolis Bus Company buses and are chaperoned by camp staff only.
Camp waitlist:
A waitlist is automatically formed within the system when a camp week becomes full.
To be placed on the waitlist, add the camp weeks you are interested into your camper's portal.
If your child is on the waitlist, you will not be able to pay the registration fee until the reservation is moved from the waitlist into their portal.
Important Camp Reminders:
- Camp cancellations must be made 2 weeks in advance.
- Camper immunizations will be uploaded into their portal during registration and must be on file before camp begins.
- All campers are required to bring a backpack, water bottle, sunscreen, change of clothes (accidents and messy play occur) and lunch daily. We recommend a bento style lunch container. All cold lunch items are refrigerated.
- **Make sure all items are labeled with your campers name**
- Diapers and wipes need to be provided for children that are not potty trained.
- A morning snack is provided for all children. All children must bring a nut free lunch each day.
Extended Care is available:
Before care is available from 7:30-9:00 am and aftercare is available from 3:00-5:00 pm.
Extended care is $4.00 per half hour/$8.00 per hour.
This is not a service that needs to be registered for, it is available each and every day of the camp season.
Our extended care is run through a punch pass system. Punch pass can be purchased here: click here
