Fieldwork Program

Fieldwork at SMDS

We provide fieldwork and mentorship opportunities for students looking for early education experience through their college programs. We are currently partnered with Anne Arundel Community College and University of Maryland Baltimore County. Each school year we receive at least 2 fieldwork students from AACC.

What Our Parents Are Saying

Over the past four years our daughter has received an exceptional education and experienced a variety of STEM, environmental, and community outreach programming. It is clear the teachers and staff truly care about each child becoming a confident and well rounded student. It has been such a joy to volunteer in the classroom, take part in school wide activities, and get to know other SMDS parents. The friendships we have formed with fellow SMDS families will continue long after we leave. We feel so fortunate to be part of such a dynamic, active, and growing community.
