Camp Sessions:
Per child, a one time $75 non-refundable fee is due upon registration. This fee covers snack & supply cost for the week.
All camp sessions for 4-6 year olds run from 9 am-3 pm Monday through Friday.
Options for 3 year olds: MWF 9 am-1 pm, or MWF 9 am-3 pm
**Camp for 2s will only be for children registered at SMDS for the 2024-2025 school year. Summer camp for 2 year olds will run week 6 & 7 on Tuesdays and Thursdays. A morning session from 9:00-11:30 and an afternoon session from 12:3-3:00 will be offered. There will be no lunch option available.**
2024 Weekly Camp Tuition Rates:
9 am-3 pm M-F is $300.00 (ages 4-6)
9 am-3 pm MWF is $250.00 (3s)
9 am-1 pm MWF is $200.00 (3s)
Tu/Th is $100.00 (2s)
Camp Counselors:
St. Margaret's summer staff include a talented, enthusiastic, and friendly group of lead counselors, and counselor assistants. Lead Counselors are experienced adult professionals who are either teachers or aspiring individuals in the field of education. Many of our summer staff are St. Margaret's Day School teachers. Counselor assistants are college or high school students who have an interest in working with young children, many returning summer after summer. All of our camp staff are first aid and CPR training certified.

Special Events/Field Trips:
We end each week with a special event, whether that be a visit from Kona Ice, an in house field trip planned and executed by the counselors, or an off campus field trip.
Any field trips that occur off campus are for 4 -6 year olds only.
All field trips travel on the Annapolis Bus Company buses and are chaperoned by camp staff only.
Camp waitlist:
A waitlist is automatically formed within the system when a camp week becomes full.
To be placed on the waitlist, add the camp weeks you are interested in to your campers portal.
If your child is on the waitlist, you will not be able to pay the registration fee until the reservation is moved from the waitlist into their portal.
Important Camp Reminders:
Before care is available from 7:30-9:00 am and aftercare is available from 3:00-5:00 pm.
Extended care is $3.50 per half hour/$7.00 per hour.
This is not a service that needs to be registered for, it is available each and every day of the camp season.

- Camp cancellations must be made 2 weeks in advance.
- Camper immunizations will be uploaded into their portal during registration and must be on file before camp begins.
- All campers are required to bring a backpack, water bottle, sunscreen, change of clothes (accidents and messy play occur) and lunch daily. We recommend a bento style lunch container. All cold lunch items are refrigerated.
- **Make sure all items are labeled with your campers name**
- Diapers and wipes need to be provided for children that are not potty trained.
- A morning snack is provided for all children. All children must bring a nut free lunch each day.

Week 1: June 17th-21st Animal Planet
Lions, tigers, and bears, oh my! We are excited to get wild this summer. We will learn about animals from all over the world, including some in our own backyard! Join us for a fun week of crafts and animal activities. We are all about the monkey business!
Week 2: June 24th-28th Unmask the hero in you!
Welcome to the city of SMDS. SMDS is in need of a hero! We need your help in keeping our city safe. Join us as we transform into the superhero universe. Design your own superhero, receive super hero training, unmask your superhero abilities, create superhero equipment and so much more!
Closed: July 1st-July 5th
Week 3: July 8th-12th Dinosaur Adventures
Travel back in time to when dinosaurs roamed the earth! Join us for our own fossil dig, fizzy dinosaur eggs, and much more. We will stomp and roar our way through the week. Your little paleontologist won't want to miss this week of exploration!
Week 4: July 15th-19th SMDS Summer Scientists
Let's discover our inner scientist! We will make scientific discoveries, hands on experiments, and more. Campers will investigate items and use their senses to discover what it is. We will make our own oobleck and slime. Let the endless scientific discoveries begin!
Week 5: July 22nd-26th Build it, Design it, LEGO
Calling all creative minded campers! Your imagination is the key to what you can create and design. End of session in-house field trip will consist of an integration of robotics and coding tools we have here at SMDS. Children will use bee bots, osmo, and more!
Week 6: July 29th-Aug 2nd Welcome to the Summer Olympics!
We are excited to host our second annual SMDS olympics and have a lot of fun activities planned. The different classes will create their own team flags, make their own medals and have an Opening Ceremony celebration. We have planned a great mix of activities – some inspired by actual Olympic events and others that are focused more on team and cooperation. Let the games begin!
Week 7: Aug 5th-9th St. Margaret's Pirates on the High Seas (last week of camp for the season!)
Adventure on the high sea as we hunt for treasure and play with the mermaids! The campers have a wonderful time designing maps, looking for treasure and acting like a pirate. All will have a great, swashbuckling time! We will have a great adventure on the Pirate ship of Annapolis on August 8th!
